Helpful Tips to Hang Your Photographs on a Wall

The best way I have found to create an arrangement that is pleasing to the eye is to lay all your artwork on the floor and arrange them, moving things around until you find arrangement that you like, then transfer the arrangement, one by one to the wall. Remember, multiple frames look best when arranged in a diamond, rectangular or square shape and spaced relatively tight, like 1-2 inches apart. A looser grouping can work for a more casual display.

Another way to determine an arrangement that is pleasing to the eye is to use paper outlines of the pieces you wish to hang; tape them to the wall to visualize alternative arrangements and make your decision.

The time to start thinking about summer reunion portraits is now. The more generations or individual families involved, the earlier the planning should take place. If a reunion is being discussed, think about scheduling a time for a group shot. Have people gather early or stay longer to include time for a relaxed, fun group shot on the beach. Rome in the spring is good for the soul There is something about Rome that draws me like a magnet.  “All roads lead to Rome” is as true for me today as it was when it was originally written.  No matter what I do, no matter how I try to get around it, I would rather be doing things the way they do it in Rome because Rome is a place that matters, sort of like my center of the world. Go there in the spring and your soul will be infused with life not unlike my favorite perennials are when they emerge from a long winter and bathe in the warmth of the sun. Travel Images

On May 4th Jamie whisked Deanna away in a horse drawn carriage and as I watched them ride away I thought to myself one, I’m glad it stopped raining…and two, those two are bonafide soul-mates.
